Airborne Engineer PlatoonCanadian Airborne Regiment1993 - 95Late in 1992, the Canadian Airborne Regiment was sent to Somalia on a "Peace Enforcement" mission. Unfortunately there was several controversies as a result of this tour of duty. The Canadian Airborne Regiment was reorganized, with an Air Defense Platoon and an Airborne Engineer Platoon added to the Combat Commando.
